About Bomns

Bomns is by far the greatest game to ever grace the face of the earth. It has a HUGE cult following (largely based in Asheville, NC) because of its immense fun factor and its unique ability to increase your sex appeal and significantly lengthen your life. Originally conceived by Charles Lindsay, it has taken many forms since the first "Bomns". Following are all the incarnations that I know of, in chronological order:
  • Bomns
    (Platform: DOS, Author: Charles Lindsay)
  • DXBomns
(Scrapped, Platform: Win32/DirectX, Author: Charles Lindsay)
  • Bomns2
(Platform: DOS, Authors: Charles Lindsay and Keith Fancher)
  • 3dDXBomns
(Scrapped, Platform: Win32/DirectX, Author: Charles Lindsay)
  • DXBomns
    (Platform: Win32/DirectX, Author: Keith Fancher)
  • DXBomns
    (Platform: Win32/DirectX, Author: Charles Lindsay)
  • Bomns for Linux
(Under development, Platform: Linux/SDL, Author: Keith Fancher)

All of these are available for download at bomns.sourceforge.net, except for Bomns for Linux, which you can get here, and my DXBomns, which I have archived somewhere (because it pretty much sucks). Bomns for Linux is my attempt to bring the coolness of Bomns to the Linux world. It's pretty sweet so far, and I don't see it getting anything but better. Or... you know... stagnant.
